1. Am I experienced in the automotive or car rental industry?

   As a prerequisite, Thrifty requires at least 5 years ownership or management experience preferably in the car rental or automobile industry in addition to strong extensive customer oriented service skills.

2. How much time do I have to invest in a Thrifty franchise?

   This is not an absentee business. You must be committed to devote your full-time energies to this venture.

3. What is my estimated net worth?

   Due to the capital intensive nature of our business, Thrifty requires a net worth of $250,000 or higher. This varies according to the specific location, size of market, amount of fleet and number of locations. This sum does not represent the total investment to open and operate the franchise business.

4. Have I made the decision to be self-employed?

   Becoming self-employed is a big step which needs to be weighed carefully by the prospective franchise owner to insure he or she is ready for this major life change.

5. Where am I interested in locating my Thrifty franchise?

6. What is my time frame for pursuing a Thrifty franchise?

   The acquisition can take between 90-120 days to complete the approval process. Are you prepared to act within this time frame?
